Agencies that supply a council, let by the room, or sell as well as let are told to buy a second platform or keep a spreadsheet. We think that is a product failure, not a business model. Keys2 puts the council on the tenancy, the room under the property and the sale on the same record as the letting, and prices by line of business rather than by unit.

Every client-facing page an agency puts out should carry their name, their colour and their typeface — with our credit reduced to one line in the footer. The agent’s workspace is ours to get right; the agency’s reputation stays theirs. That split is the whole commercial argument.
Four rules that decide what every screen in Keys2 does, and does not, do.
Numbers before adjectives
Every screen that involves money or a deadline says the figure and the date before it says anything else. The fee goes in the sentence, not the footnote.
Name the stage
Property work is a chain of named steps — instructed, listed, viewed, offered, agreed, exchanged, completed. A message that says “updated” has told nobody anything.
One decision per view
The action is marked and the sentence names it. If a screen offers two next steps, we have written it badly and we go back.
Built for a hallway
Read at arm’s length on a cheap tablet, in poor light, with a client three feet away. Tap targets at 44px, nothing under 12px, no hover-only controls.
Who builds Keys2
Pixtech is a UK software company. Keys2 is its property product, and Pixtech holds the artwork, the roadmap and the support line. Support is founder-led through the first cohorts of agencies — a person you can call, not a ticket queue.
Your data is held separately from every other agency’s at the database level, backed up nightly, and exportable in one click at any time. If you leave, you take everything.
